Not the Last Day

Thank you for listening to AllWorship. This listener-supported ministry exists to share a variety of music channels that encourage us to worship our Lord.

No doubt your inbox and social media have been filled with requests for your year-end gifts. You have probably even seen a couple from me asking you to support AllWorship the past couple of weeks. Thank you if you have already responded and helped us meet our year-end goal. We exceeded the goal a couple of days ago. To God be the glory as He encouraged you to support this ministry.

But as my subject line reminds us, this isn't the last day you can support AllWorship, nor is it the last day we will need your support. Because along with the donations we received this past week, I have also received invoices from the music licensing agencies, our streaming service and website provider, and the big one, our annual fees to SoundExchange. Together, they amount to about 75% of this year-end goal. So I'm thankful we reached the goal. We will need every cent as we roll into January.

But I believe supporting a ministry is not about helping pay their bills. It's about me being involved in their ministry. In effect, I become that ministry. My wife and I support our local church, sponsor four children around the world through various child-sponsorship organizations, and support our local Christian radio station. Through them, I can do ministry that is impossible for me to do by myself. Just like the parable of the fish and loaves of a boy being enough to feed the multitude, laying my gift into the Lord's hands becomes much more than I can do by myself.

Your ongoing support is vital to AllWorship. Your gift, together with others, allows this ministry to provide hope and encouragement around the world.

I want to thank you for the incredible blessing of your ministry. My family & I are living in Shanghai, China, and this website has been such a ministry to us! We’re so thankful to be able to surround ourselves and fill our home with godly Christian music, while living in communist China. How amazing is that?!

Yes, today this is the last day of 2022. Today is the last day your gift to AllWorship may be tax-deductible for your income taxes. But today is certainly not the last day AllWorship will need your support. Thank you for listening and for being a supporter of AllWorship.
