Enter His Gates
| |
Webster defines thankfulness as being aware of a benefit received, well pleased and expressive of those facts. David agrees when he says in Psalm 100 Know that the Lord is God. It is He who made us and we are His people, the sheep of His pasture. Enter His gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to Him and praise His name. For the Lord is good and His loves endures forever; His faithfulness continues through all generations. As we celebrate the holidays with family and friends, don’t forget, that even in the midst of turmoil, strife and chaos, God is on his throne. He made us and we are His people. He is good. His love and faithfulness endures forever. Thankfulness asks us to be aware of the blessings we have received, well pleased and expressive. As I look at what God has done in my own life, my heart is full of thankfulness at the year that has passed. And now I have the opportunity to share my faith and encourage others on the pilgrim's walk through AllWorship. By any measure, this year has be an eventful one.
Thank you for your kind words and support through this transition. I believe exciting times are ahead for us. Updates are coming soon to the both the Apple and Android apps, as well as additional resources on the website. Until then, my prayer for you is a restful and blessing filled Thanksgiving holiday. May God richly bless you today as you reflect on His many blessings for us.
