It is very important when putting out a camp fire that you put it out all of the way and leave no glowing embers, for they can reignite with a good wind. The best way is to pour water on it.

However, that is not true in matters of the spirit.

There are some in the pulpit today who are watering down the Word of God. Have you noticed that many preachers today do not talk of hell or judgment, or even sin? Granted, the world today is different than it was many years ago. People do not just walk into a church because it is expected of them, or because there is nowhere else to go, or even because there is a special service.

Before we get too hard on those in the pulpit, let's look at ourselves with a microscope.
