Stories Matter
Before coming to AllWorship, I was a professor at a small Christian university in Texas. Actually chair of the Communication department. Each semester, three professors and four adjuncts taught a dozen and a half different classes across three academic disciplines, electronic media, public relations and online communication. Even though the class could be on radio or television, advertising, social media or communication theory, the focus was always on the story.
Stories are central to all human activity. It's how we raise our children, bind together tribes, sports teams, businesses, or a nation. The Bible we read every day is a collection of stories, stories that show us how God leads, what He desires for His children, and His love embodied in His Son Jesus. Stories matter.
We all have a story to tell. Maybe it's a story of God's leading, or for His provision in our lives, providing what we need. Maybe that story is about the moment the Holy Spirit touched your heart for the first time, perhaps through something your heard on AllWorship.
