Niccolo Paganini, a well-known Italian violinist in the early 1840s, noticed right before going out on stage for a concert, that the violin he was about to play wasn’t his, but an “ordinary” violin.
His high dollar instrument had been stolen and replaced with an inexpensive one.
He went back stage, thought for a minute, then came back and played a magnificent concert. He told the audience, “I will show you that the music isn’t in the instrument, but in the soul”. He went on to play so beautifully that he was given a standing ovation.
Our “music” in also in our soul. It’s how we look at things.
God made our souls for singing.
Are we going to be a pessimist and hear only music in a minor chord when things don’t go the way we want...
