A Sunday school teacher asked her class if anyone could quote the entire 23rd Psalm.
A golden-haired, four-and-a-half-year-old girl was among those who raised their hands.
A bit skeptical, the teacher asked if she could really quote the entire psalm.
The little girl came to the front of the room, faced the class, made a perky little bow, and said,
“The Lord is my shepherd, that’s all I want.”
She bowed again and went and sat down.
That may well be the greatest interpretation of the 23rd Psalm ever heard.

WOW! A little young one said a message in two sentences. I came to this website asking,”how can I honestly quote this scrpture?” Knowing I have wants, currently homeless, with needs and wants… This youngOne said it…SOLID… THE LORD IS MY SHEPHERD…that’s all I want and will ever want. And BECAUSE…The LORD IS MY SHEPHERD… I shall not want. Halleluyah GLORY! Selah
Thank You so very much! 🙏
Sweet and true.ha
God saved me by his Bible from extreme suffering. I joyously andh honestly affirm it.???He loves us.
Many of us would give the full Psalm or give an in depth explanation of our faith, yet those 9 words of the little girl in the story sum it up perfectly!
Thank you.
Amazing!
Very true….sometimes we have lot to learn from kids…bcoz God speaks through kids to us. Yes The Lord is my shepherd that’s all I want…:)
I didn’t expect the little girl to say this at all. Young children are very wise these days, so It never occurred to me that she would not know the Psalm. Her answer was superrr!! Thank you for sharing.

WOW !
I love this. . . . from the mouth of babes.
Why wouldn’t i say the little girl was right, the argument here is that the lord must first be your shepherd before any other thing can be added onto you. Just like seek ye the kingdom of God first and every other thing will be added onto you. Thanks from Allwell Ogbanga
